Solar panel cleaning

Panels sit outdoors and gather dust, leaves, pollen and bird droppings. We clean them as a service of its own or alongside a visit to your system, and tell you what is planned and the price before you go ahead.

What's included

  • A look at your case

Remotely, plus a site visit if it's needed.

  • A written quote

With the price, before any work starts.

  • Only with your go-ahead

It's your call: we only go ahead when you say yes.

Two ways to ask

  • Cleaning only: you ask for the panels to be cleaned and nothing else.
  • With a visit: if we are already coming for maintenance, a repair or an assessment, you can add panel cleaning to the same visit, if access allows and it is agreed in the quote.

What we look at before cleaning

  • Where the panels are: pitched roof, flat roof, terrace or ground.
  • How they are reached and whether access is safe.
  • How many panels there are and what state they are in.
  • Whether anything else needs attention, such as a loose fixing or a damaged panel.

The method depends on the type of panel and on access. If we see something that should not wait, we say so in the quote.

Do not climb on the roof

Cleaning panels means working at height, next to electrical equipment. Do not do it yourself or ask someone without training. If you only want to check how the panels look, a photo taken from the ground or a window already helps us.

What helps us

Where the system is, how many panels it has, what kind of roof or mounting it is, and whether access is easy or has obstacles. If you do not know some of this, describe what you do know and we fill in the rest during the assessment.

How we handle your request

We reply within 48 h. We assess the request, remotely and with a visit if needed, and send a written quote with the price stated before you go ahead. The decision is yours, with no obligation. If cleaning is part of a bigger visit, the quote shows it separately.

Frequently asked questions

Do you clean panels only?

Yes. You can ask for cleaning alone, or add it to a maintenance or repair visit if access allows.

Can I clean the panels myself?

We do not advise it. The work is at height and next to electrical equipment. If you are unsure about the state of your panels, ask us for an assessment.

How often should they be cleaned?

It depends on where the system is and what builds up on the panels. We do not give a general rule; in the assessment we tell you what we see.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of panels, the type of roof and access. The price comes in writing in the quote, before any work.
