Signs that the inverter needs help
- A red or flashing light on the unit.
- An error code on the display or in the manufacturer app.
- The inverter won't switch on, or switches itself off.
- Zero production on sunny days.
- Heat or noise that isn't normal.
If you smell burning or see smoke, switch off the installation breaker and don't touch the equipment any further. Safety comes first.
What to have ready before asking for help
You don't need to understand electricity. It helps us to know the brand and model (printed on the inverter label), the error code that shows, whether there is a battery and how long ago the system was installed. If you're not sure of something, that's fine: describe what you see and we'll help work out the rest.
Repair, replace or upgrade?
Not every fault has the same answer. Once we understand what failed, we tell you whether repair is possible or whether it's better to replace the inverter, for example when the unit is old or the faults keep coming back.
It may also be the moment to upgrade: when you replace it, you can choose a hybrid inverter and add a battery, now or later. We work with inverters of several brands and tell you what we can do for your model.
How we handle your request
We reply within 48 h. We assess your system, remotely and with a site visit if needed, and send a written quote with the price stated before you go ahead. The decision is yours, with no obligation.
Frequently asked questions
The inverter shows an error. Can I keep using it?
It depends on the error. If the unit switches itself off or gets abnormally hot, the safest step is to switch it off and ask for help. Note the code and tell us the model: in the assessment we explain what it means in your case.
Do I need to know the error code?
It helps, but it isn't required. If you can't find it, describe what you see (lights, messages, what the app shows) and we'll take it from there.
How long does the repair take?
It depends on the fault and the equipment, so we don't promise a time up front. What we do commit to is a reply to your request within 48 h and a clear quote on what to do.
