Where to find the alarm
On Huawei inverters of the SUN2000 series, alarms usually show in the FusionSolar app, with a name and a code, and on the indicator lights of the unit itself. Before asking for help, open the app and note:
- the name and code of the alarm;
- the day it started and whether it repeats;
- whether production dropped or stopped;
- the model, printed on the inverter label.
Inverter, grid or internet?
Not every alarm is an inverter fault. There are three cases worth telling apart:
- The app stopped showing data, but the inverter lights look normal: often the communication failed, not the production.
- The inverter switches off when the grid voltage rises or drops: this may be a grid or settings issue rather than the equipment.
- Zero production on a sunny day, with an active alarm: the problem is then likely in the inverter or the panels, and it's worth an assessment.
In the assessment we go through the app history with you, if you still have access, and tell you which case you're in.
Do you have a Huawei LUNA2000 battery?
If the system has a LUNA2000 battery, some alarms concern the battery or the communication between it and the inverter. If what failed was the backup during a power cut, see the backup that failed in a cut page.
Manufacturer warranty and account access
If the inverter is still under the manufacturer warranty, first check the terms with whoever sold it to you. If you lost access to the FusionSolar account because the installer stopped answering, tell us: we look with you at what can be recovered.

Frequently asked questions
The alarm went away by itself. Do I need to do anything?
If it showed once and didn't come back, it may have been a passing grid disturbance. If it repeats or production drops, note the code and ask for an assessment.
The app shows the inverter offline. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. Often only the communication failed. Check whether the inverter lights are on and the home internet works; if all looks normal and it stays offline, tell us.
Can you repair my model?
It depends on the model and the fault. Give the model and the alarm code in your request: we look at your case and tell you what is possible, including when replacing is the better option.
